TMB152 DescriptionThe 6" apochromatic refractor is the instrument of choice for many discriminating
observers and imagers worldwide. It's blend of aperture and contrast offer a wealth of low contrast planetary
details and faint nebulosity alike. It's LZOS made air spaced SD triplet provides uncompromsing image quality
while practically eliminating chromatic aberration so common in lesser instruments.
The 152/1200 focuser is the Starlight Instruments Feathertouch 3545. With it's 3.5" drawtube and tube baffling especially designed to allow for full illumination of even large 6x7 formats, no imager could ask for more. The visual observer will appreciate it's ability to allow for binoviewer use without having to use an image amplifier(and it's resulting loss of field of view)to achieve focus. Both the visual observer and imager alike will appreciate the rotating focuser which allows for changing the orientation of the ocular or camera without having to refocus. |
